How To Choose The Perfect Tattoo

When you're looking to choose a tattoo, what are some of the things you should be looking for? For one, the right design for you is crucial. A lot of people prefer to get small things like a cross, butterflies and even names but there are others that people get. Just remember, a tattoo will be with you forever. You will have it no matter how hard you wash it and your body will always have that design so make sure it is perfect. This is why I would not recommend getting a name of a spouse, friend or somebody that might not hold that special place in your heart like a child would. What if you break up with her or she turns into somebody you didn't think she was. You'll kick yourself forever for something like that. It's best to stick with designs.

It pretty much comes down to personal preference, but however you're going to go about choosing your new tattoo, you'll probably be offered a book of different tattoo designs in either book form or in an online catalog. The great thing about a book is that you can skip to the category that you want and this will make everything go a lot smoother than you would ever imagine.

Some of the designs are very intricate and will require many hours to complete, return visits, and an exceptional amount of patience on your part. Other tattoos don’t require as much and will only take an hour to complete. Almost always, the more intricate the design and the more time it takes to complete, the higher the price tag. Expect to pay anywhere from $50 to a few hundred as a ballpark figure.

Did you know that in some places a tattoo is considered a right of passage? They are so incredibly painful that warriors in places like Africa and other wild areas of the world have their tribesman make tattoos on many areas of their body just to prove they can endure the pain. That way, when going on hunting expeditions or other forms of dangerous undertakings, they are fearless and full of confidence. If they can withstand the pain of thousands of cuts to their skin, followed by the smearing of ink to make a tattoo, then they should be fit and ready for battles of any kind.

The last thing that I want to you to understand is that tattoos in America are nothing like this and they don’t hurt as much. If you are going to get a tattoo, then just know that it will hurt a little bit but nothing so bad that you will want to stop. Just know that getting a tattoo should be a good day in your life and there shouldn’t be anything making you want to change your mind about the design or tattoo that you plan on getting.

If you want the best tattoo out there, then I would strongly recommend getting a spider web tattoo on elbow. Another place to get a good tattoo would be on your shoulder. Shoulder tattoos are easy to get and don't hurt that much eaier.

Picking The Next Great Tattoo

For a lot of people they think about getting their next tattoo days after they got their last one. It is important that you spend some time thinking about your next tattoo and that is why I wanted to bring this up to you. Don’t be like some people and just feel the urge to get a tattoo so you walk into a shop and pick one out. This is not what you need to do, being that a tattoo is permanent you need to love whatever it is because it will be with you forever.

Advice On Picking Your Next Tattoo

Take Your Time – It is important to spend a little bit of time to think about your next tattoo. The reason why you need to take your time is because when people rush a decision it will normally come out wrong. Something that I would highly recommend is to wait at least a week before you decide on the final design of your tattoo. I know this might seem like a long time but it really isn’t.

Get Something Small – Being that I have some tattoos, I know that at some point you might want to get something big and meaningful but sometimes you should wait on that. My advice is to plan on getting something that is big but do it in a way that you get pieces of it done at a time. The reason I recommend getting something small and then expanding on it is because you won’t be able to tell when enough is enough until you actually see it on your body.

Customize It – The last thing I would do is change the way your tattoo looks. If you are looking at something on the internet then I would print off the picture and see about adding little things to it to make it your own. Just remember that this is going to be on your body forever to make sure that it looks just like you want it to.

If your tattoo is a little bit different than you had planned on then don’t worry just yet, every tattoo is different so if yours is a bit unique then that should not make a huge difference. A lot of people will ask the tattoo artist for a recommendation and I would recommend doing this to a point, get some pointers but don’t let them change your mind on what you want. Whether you are getting shoulder blade tattoos or something on your forearm, you need to get something that YOU love because that is all that matters.

Tattoos That You Might Want To Avoid

Have you ever heard of somebody that hated their newly finished tattoo even though it was something they just wanted to get? This is more common than you probably know and the reason is because a lot of people don’t think about the tattoo they are about to get or where they are going to get it. Getting a tattoo in the right place is very important and that is why I want to help you with this sometimes troublesome task.

The problem with a tattoo is they don’t come off without a surgical procedure and that is why it is imperative that you get the perfect tattoo in the beginning. What you need to realize is that some tattoos can be corrected for minor errors but big tattoos are really hard to cover up so make sure you don’t think that every tattoo can easily be fixed. Do yourself a favor and listen to what I have to say below because it will benefit you at some point.

Tattoos You Should Avoid

Names – Something that I strongly believe is that a tattoo should never be a name of somebody that you don’t love unconditionally such as a child, parent, or brother/sister. The problem with getting a name is that a lot of people get names of their spouses, people they are dating, and sometimes even actors or athletes that they like. Think about what you do before getting the tattoo, what if the person you are dating leaves you for somebody else, they would are you going to do with their name on your body?

Logos – Have you ever seen what some older logos look like 20 years ago. One of the biggest issues with a logo is that the team or company that uses it will change it roughly every 10 years and because of that your tattoo will look very outdated in a very short amount of time. What I recommend is that you get something else that will symbolize a team or company because at least that way it won’t look as outdated.

Faces – Are you thinking about getting somebody’s face tattooed on your body somewhere? If you do then I would recommend that you rethink that. The problem with getting a person’s face on your body is the tattoo articles barely ever des an exact match of the person and therefore your tattoo will not really resemble who you want it to. If you want to do something then I would try to come up with another idea because as soon as the tattoo is on you can’t do anything to get rid of it (other than tattoo removal surgery).

Trust me, you need to think long and hard about any type of tattoo that you plan on getting. What I would recommend is that you think about more than just the tattoo, often times the tattoo looks great but the area of your body is not the best place for it. What I would do is get a shoulder blade tattoo because you can do many things on a bigger canvas and they are easy to cover up.

Best Way To Cover Up Tattoos

A lot of people in the world have tattoos and millions of people are getting new tattoos every year. The reason why you need to know this is because a lot of job interviews are lost because a person has a tattoo that is just too outrageous for the company they are interviewing for. The problem with some tattoos is that it is hard to cover them up and that is why you need to either get a reasonable tattoo or something that is a little harder to see.

I have a lot of tattoos and the thing that I suggest is to put them in spots on your body that people won’t easily be able to notice them. For instance, a back tattoo would be a good one, shoulder tattoos are great, and even upper arm tattoos are perfect for somebody that is looking for a job. My one piece of advice is to never get something on your face or your neck because that is where everybody will look when they talk to you.

I know that people are not going to stop getting tattoos and that is why I have created a few ways that you can cover up your tattoos when you need to.

The first thing that you should do is use makeup. For men this might be a little hard to do at first because just the thought of putting on makeup might make you feel weird. When it comes to getting the perfect job you might have to do things like this, whatever it takes to get the job, right. I would rather use a little bit of makeup and be the only one that knows about it than to lose a job because of a tattoo that is visiable.

Another great way to cover up a tattoo is to simply wear clothes over the top of it. If you have a tattoo on your forearm then it is very easy to just wear a long sleeve shirt all the time. If you have a tattoo on your leg then wearing pants would be the best thing to do. Now if you have a tattoo on your upper neck then you will either need to wear a turtle neck or wear a collared shirt and probably use makeup. What you need to understand is that covering up certain tattoos might be extremely difficult and that is why you should not get something that can be covered up.

Something I recommend if you get another tattoo is to make sure that you can hide it whenever you need to. This is probably why I love it when people get shoulder blade tattoos.
